Nettle Shampoo and Body Bar

Description

Natural Soap For Eczema

If you have common skin and hair problems such as the dry itchy scalp, acne, dry skin, greasy skin or dandruff, then you shouldn’t reach for your regular old shampoo and face wash, the next time you head into the bathroom—you need to be reaching for a natural nettle soap and nettle shampoo

Bar weighs 3.75oz

Keep bars from sitting in water to avoid unwanted softening and dissolving. Store in a cool, dry place.

Natural shampoo bars are easy to use! If you are new to shampoo bars, finding the right bar and using the best technique for your hair can help in a successful transition from synthetic shampoo to natural shampoo bars. Since natural shampoo bars are so gentle, it can take a while to remove all of the silicones and petroleum-based products used on your hair for years. If you do not lather and rinse really well, you will have areas that remain coated with the soap oils and synthetic shampoo residue, which will make your hair feel “gummy.” The simplest way to avoid this is to fully lather and rinse your hair multiple times!

Lakota Made's Shampoo and Body Bars are made without added preservatives or harmful chemicals, such as parabens, sulfates, formaldehyde, and synthetic fragrances. Our eco-friendly bars are also free of microplastics and plastic packaging, making them good for both your body and the environment!

How to use a Lakota Made Shampoo and Body Bar as a shampoo

  1. First, make sure that your hair is thoroughly wet.
  2. Gently rub the shampoo bar directly onto your hair from scalp to ends in a combing and/or circular motion. Continue to add water as you create the lather. (To avoid tangles, be sure to always work from the top down, don't pile your hair on your head, and use your fingers like a comb, not a mixer.)
  3. Lather up your hair fully, then be sure to rinse, rinse, rinse!!! Especially if your hair is new to using a shampoo bar, you'll want to fully lather and rinse two or possibly three times.
  4. The rinsing should take longer than the washing and lathering time. If your hair is long or thick, lift up sections of your hair to ensure that all of the shampoo bar residues are rinsed clean. Also, pay special attention to rinsing the middle back of your head and the nape of your neck, as these are common trouble spots.

Cured my seborrheic dermatitis / psoriasis

I had seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp and around my ears for about 8 years (tried many shampoos and prescriptions). I honestly cannot believe it, but this has completely healed me. …I never write reviews, but I had to. I don’t even have to worry about going to sleep with my hair and scalp a bit wet. Usually that would give me a huge scalp psoriasis/dermatitis breakout. This has changed my life. I cannot thank you enough. I just hope other people will see this review and give it a try. …I’m not sure if it was the nettle or just the fact that the ingredients are limited/natural. Either way, worth a try. Really work along the scalp (I apply the bar directly to my scalp, especially the back and around my ears and entire hairline), make a lather, gentle massage your entire scalp (also through the hair) until the foam starts to dissipate, then rinse well.

Nettle Shampoo and Body Bar

My husband and I have been using Shampoo bars for the past 3 years. My daughter gifted me with a Lakota Made Goat's Milk Nettle bar a few years ago and I didn't actually pull it out to use until this past year. We were both very pleasantly surprised with how great the bar was for hair and body. We didn't want o go back to our old brand from our food co-op and ordered directly from Lakota Made. The lather is wonderful and no more stinging eyes. And, our hair looks and feels great after a shampoo with out Nettle Bar!

Exactly what I've been looking for.

Hair type: fine, curly (2C), low density, sensitive scalp, in a dry climate.

I tried three different shampoo bars with the three different bases (hemp, goat's milk, honey: and all of them phenomenal) but this one here is the absolute BEST for my particular hair! It moisturizes curls without weighing them down (because no added oils). Lathers up lovely. Cleanses without drying. The scent of the nettles is fresh and green. And it soothes whatever might be irritating my scalp on any given day. I've tried different shampoo bars from various brands, but this one outshines them all. I'll be back! Thank you Lakota Made, for sharing your knowledge and gifts with us 🌿

I've tried the lip balm and the bar shampoo - I love them both and am a return customer. Will definitely buy again!

Wonderful!

I'm a few washes in at this point and I can already feel a difference in my scalp and hair. I'm not as itchy as I usually get- especially in the winter. The smell is subtle and really nice too!
