Wholesale Policies

You (“the buyer”) must have a physical shop, with or without an online website, OR be an online-only seller with an established following to be eligible for a wholesale account and remain a reseller of my goods. Selling on third party websites (Etsy, Ebay, Amazon) and purchasing items for personal use is strictly prohibited.

All buyers are reviewed and vetted to ensure they are a legitimate business. We reserve the right to deny applications or decline orders if shops are in violation of these policies.

How to place an order

  1. Please fill out the form listed on this page, and our wholesale team will reach out if we need further information. If you are approved, you will receive an email request to set up your Lakota Made B2B account.
  2. Once your account is set up, you can place orders as usual. These orders will be submitted for review by our wholesale manager. After review, you will receive an invoice via email.
  3. Upon payment, we will begin processing your order and send an email confirmation.
For special requests, please email emily.schmitt@lakotamade.com. Please note that a 5% processing fee applies.
Shipping times depend on order size, orders under 1500.00 usually ship within a week and 1600+ two weeks etc. No processing fee. No quantity limits.

    By making wholesale purchases from Lakota Made LLC, buyers agree to these policies.

    Wholesale Pricing

    There are three different tiers with varying discounts applied based on first time, or repeat customers, and minimum dollar amount of the order. Once I have that information, I will assign your account a catalog of our available products. You will receive an access email for all of this after that. You can login and view the products automatically at their discounted prices.

    Tier 1: First time orders of $1000 minimum at 35% off retail, following orders placed minimum of $500, discount remains the same.

     Tier 2: First time orders of $500 minimum at 30% off retail, following orders minimum of $250, discount remains the same.

     Tier 3: All orders over $250 minimum at 20% off retail.

    All products listed on our website are available to order wholesale with the exception of our herbal tonics due to their limited shelf life.

    Youth & Elder Tribal Programs 

    Automatically be considered Tier 3

    Additional Discounts

    Since buyers already receive a discount, wholesale pricing does not qualify for additional discounts unless offered during a promotion. Orders that have additional discount codes applied at checkout will be cancelled.

    Payment Terms

    All orders must be paid upfront prior to processing and shipment.

    Shipping

    All orders are shipped from Mankato MN, unless prior local pickup arrangements have been made. 

    All items are shipped USPS or UPS Tracked Package based on weight and are sent Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.

    All import / duties are the responsibility of the you ("the buyer") and are not included in the shipping costs.

    PICKUP / DROP OFF

    For businesses in the Mankato area, pickup and drop off options are available. Drop off options will be subject to my availability and access to transportation. Please inquire prior to ordering.

    Fulfillment

    Once payment has been received, orders take between 1-4 weeks to fulfill you will receive notification of an approximate fulfill time when order processing has began.

    Selling on Third Party Sites / Personal Purchases

    To remain a reseller of my goods, the buyer must sell direct to consumer through a physical shop with or without a website owned & operated by the buyer and their company.

    Selling my goods in the following ways is prohibited and may result in the refusal of accepting future orders:

    • Selling on third-party sites (Amazon, Etsy, Ebay, Daily Deal Sites, etc.)
    • Drop-shipping sites (Buy.com, Overstock.com, etc.)
    • Classified sites (Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc.)
    • Selling in bulk to B2B accounts, or other wholesalers
    • Purchasing items for personal use.

    Returns & Exchanges

    Due to the nature of my small business, we do NOT do returns or exchanges unless the items arrived damaged or are flawed in some way. However, please contact support@lakotamadellc.com right away if you’re unhappy with your order.

    Damaged Items

    All items are quality checked before they are shipped. Please inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival and contact me within 5 days of receiving the order to discuss any potential issues. Returns, exchanges, or refunds on damaged items will not be considered beyond this timeframe.

    Designs

    I do not offer design exclusivity unless specified in a signed contract for work created specifically for that client.

    Zip Code Protection

    I only offer zip code protection if certain criteria is met (i.e. large, consistent order volume). Please inquire prior to placing first order.

    Social Media Promotion

    Feel free to promote my items when they become available. 

    Photography for Promotion

    If the buyer would like to use some of my photography for promotional purposes, please contact me. megan.bullbear@lakotamade.com Appropriate credit is required. 

    Display

    Cases, racks, and product info signs are not provided.

    Privacy

    Buyers information is safe with us! I will not share or distribute at any cost. We also don’t keep your credit card information.

    Artwork Copyright

    Reproductions, photocopies, resales, and using artwork for personal or commercial promotion are strictly prohibited without written permission or an art license. All art is under the copyright of Lakota Made LLC / Megan L. Bull Bear.

    Terms

    Retailers must agree to and abide by wholesale terms outlined here. I reserve the right to refuse orders or terminate approved accounts that are not in compliance.
