Ksuyeya Pain Salve

Description

Ksuyeya (ksoo-yay-yuh) means pain in the Lakota language.

Ingredients: Sunflower Oil, Beeswax, White Willow Bark, Comfrey, Arnica Flower, Menthol Crystals

Product comes in a glass jar.

Uses: For relieving pain & discomfort caused by sore muscles, sprains, and bruising with a slight cooling sensation. For external use only.

Salves should be kept in a cool, dry area. Do not let salves freeze or melt as this will cause the consistency to be off. The product should still work as intended if this happens, but the consistency will make it more difficult to apply.

Off-Label Use, But ...

I was desperate one night when I had painful hemorrhoids, but the commercial creams and gels were doing little to alleviate the pain. In desperation, I applied a minimal amount of this salve. The cooling sensation relief was immediate. I was able to sleep through the night. My pain was mostly gone by morning. I am glad I tried this -- it's also nice for shoulder strain.
